HAPPY VOLUNTEER WEEK!!!
This week the NSR Kanga Cup celebrates all those who give up their time for others during National Volunteers Week.
Canberra has the highest population of volunteers nationally and we’re proud to be part of such a giving community.
Major events like the Kanga Cup would not be where they are today if it wasn’t for our volunteers, giving up their spare time and help give something back to the community.
A big thank you also goes out to all the Kanga Cup tournament volunteers who help ensure the event runs smoothly and a huge thank you to the club and team volunteers who ensure players have the best week possible on and off the grounds. The NSR Kanga Cup as well as other football events would be nothing without your efforts.
We are now calling on interested volunteers new and old to help make this year’s NSR Kanga Cup bigger and better than ever!
We are delighted to welcome all of our previous event volunteers and new volunteers to join the 2016 NSR Kanga Cup team, and be part of delivering the Southern Hemispheres Largest Youth Football Tournament.
There are a diverse range of roles including Venue Managers, Venue Assistants, Team Liaison Officers, Referee Coordinators, Reporters & Media staff, Event Assistants, Drivers, Administrators and much more!
All volunteers are equipped with an Official Kanga Cup staff uniform, in addition we provide meals daily and invite you to enjoy a number of social events and a special Volunteers event at the conclusion of the tournament to acknowledge the fantastic contribution made by the team behind the teams.
There are a range of roles and shifts available so please get in touch with us for more information! Many hands make light work and we would like you to enjoy Kanga Cup as a volunteer.
If you would like to volunteer for the 2016 NSR Kanga Cup, applications and further information is available on our website in the volunteers section
