Registrations Open 15th February!

December 7, 2017

It’s time to get excited as registrations are set to open February 15, for the 2016 edition of the NSR Kanga Cup to be held between 3rd-8th July. The biggest youth football tournament in the Southern Hemisphere will be back bigger and better than ever this year and clubs are invited to get ready to register in order to avoid disappointment!

Last year saw a record sold out entry field of 342 teams for the competition including entries from Korea Republic and New Zealand, and we are hopeful to add even more international teams to the mix this time round. Registrations opening also coincide with the launch of a brand new website!

The NSR Kanga Cup is widely regarded as the pre-eminent tournament of its kind for Youth players but don’t just take our word for it, check out what some of last year’s entrants had to say about the experience!

“This is a great tournament which is very well run. There are good quality teams competing which is beneficial for the players’ development as well as making it a great spectacle for the parent who also travel with their teams.”
ROBERT DEL CHECCOLO, FOOTBALL MANAGER, ADELAIDE CITY JUNIORS

“Because [the NSR Kanga Cup] is the biggest footballing competition in the Southern hemisphere and a great opportunity to compete at a more intense level. It will also help us develop our player’s footballing skills.”
KAREN GRAY, MANAGER, INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL SCHOOL

“It’s really fun to travel and hang out with your friends, family & team.”
EMILY BUSACCA, PLAYER, RINGWOOD CITY

“This is a great learning opportunity. It’s concentrated games within one week, providing a base to learn and develop skills.”
MIKE SHANAHAN, COACH, CANBERRA GIRLS GRAMMAR UNDER 14’S PLATE

So what are you waiting for? Get prepared to enter your team in the 2016 NSR Kanga Cup today! Registrations close Friday 27th May. More information to follow.
