The NSR Kanga Cup are proud to announce the compilation of the pools for each age group for the 2016 tournament. The make-up of each pool offers a number of intriguing ties with the full fixture list being created for release shortly. So who does YOUR club play?
A record of entry of 380 teams will take part in the 2016 edition of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest and best Youth Football Tournament with our guests from interstate joined by a smattering of clubs from overseas and set to provide some epic battles and create memories that will last a lifetime.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to release the pools for the 2016 NSR Kanga Cup today,” Tournament Director Michael Kelly commented. “The registration process is a huge logistical undertaking and I would like to thank the Kanga Cup Organising Committee for their work in helping to release this information on schedule.
“There are a number of exciting initiatives planned for the competition this season with the tournament Opening Ceremony at Stage 88 offering a brilliant start to what we are sure will be one of the most successful tournaments on record. With a bigger number of teams than ever before, the 2016 NSR Kanga Cup is sure to be remembered for many years to come.”

Important Information on some current divisions.
The Kanga Cup caters for a variety of competitions however due to the number of registered teams in each age and division, some competitions have been combined as outlined below. This is done to ensure that not only the integrity of the competitions is kept at a high standard, but the ability for teams to participate in the tournament.
- U9FC, U10FP and U10FC > combined as U10 Female Cup
- U14MS and U14MP > combined as U14 Male Plate (pending on movement of teams possible split back into two separate competitions)
- U16FP and U16FC > combined as U16 Female Cup for Pool Rounds and split for Finals
- U17FC and U18FC > combined as U18 Female Cup
- U17MP and U18MP > combined as U18 Male Plate
