A relatively new club established in scenic Point Cook on the outskirts of Melbourne in 2014, West Point SC is already a force to be reckoned with.
Their Under 13’s compete in Football Victoria’s West A Division, and in addition to finishing first in their league in 2018, were also crowned state champions.
“We look forward to competing against some of the best teams from around Australia and testing ourselves against them,” he said.
West Point FC boasts a talented lineup, with a number of players being identified by Melbourne Victory FC to be a part of their new Pre-Academy Program – the pathway into the prestigious Melbourne Victory FC Academy.
The club is expanding in leaps and bounds and is one of the fastest growing clubs in the Western Suburbs.
“Our club strives on developing great young footballers both on and off the pitch,” coach Halil said.
“This tournament is another part of our team’s development and we cannot wait get to Canberra.”
