The McDonald’s Kanga Cup reached a milestone in registrations earlier this week with 150 teams already signing up for the 2021 event.
Central Coast Sports College (CCSC) has been sending teams for several years, bringing with them a fun and positive attitude and a competitive edge.
CCSC coach Will Piriz said a number of former Matildas and A-League players have joined the coaching staff this year.
“We will have Adam Kwasnik involved in the coaching staff for our trip to Canberra,” Piriz said.
“Adam was a Central Coast Mariners player from 2005-2014, with one year at Wellington Phoenix in the 08/09 season.
“Adam has been an integral member of the football coaching staff at Central Coast Sports College during the last 6 years.
“He has also worked with former Mariner, Andre Gumprecht to win the U18 boys Kanga Cup in 2019 for CCSC.”
Adam will be working with a young boys squad this year with the aim of giving them a great football experience in Canberra.
“The Kanga Cup has always been a great opportunity for players of all ages and abilities to express and enjoy themselves through the game we all love, football,” Kwasnik said.
“I look forward to this year’s addition and wish all players all the very best and remember to always play with a smile.”
