The 2016 NSR Kanga Cup is reaching an exciting stage, with team nominations closing next Friday 27th May and the tournament kick-off itself just over 6 weeks away.  Already to date team entries have been breaking all records, with us already having received most registrations ever this early in the registration process. 330 teams have already secured their place in the 2016 NSR Kanga Cup and with entries still flowing in tournament organizers would not be surprised to see the sell out mark of 360 reached early next week!

The 2016 NSR Kanga Cup is also excited to release the provisional schedule of events for the tournament week, 3 – 8 July. Included in this is the Official Opening Ceremony event, which will be hosted at a brand new live venue plus a new Sign On location and process. More details regarding these, along with further events, will be released in the coming weeks. In the meantime please see below the provisional schedule of events.

Saturday 2nd July
1200 – 1700: Canberra team sign on session + Coaches & Managers meeting (1600 – 1700 ). Venue TBA

Sunday 3rd July
1000 -1300: Interstate/international team sign on session + Coaches & Managers meeting (1200 – 1300). Venue TBA

1400 – 1700: Official Opening Ceremony Festival (Team March 1500) Venue TBA

Monday 4th – Thursday 7th July
0830 – 1630: Matches at all grounds
0900 – 1630: Football Central at Southwell Park

Thursday 7th July
1730 – 1930: NSR Kanga Cup Awards Night @ Australian Institute of Sport

Friday 8th July
0830 – 1630: Grand final day at Southwell Park
0900 – 1600: Football Central at Southwell Park Open
